The characters are three young black males who are sitting on a wall whilst waiting for their friend, and make fun of each other and discuss black stereotypes. The exotic category is relevant as the youths have an African background. On the other hand, this clip goes against Alvarado's category of dangerous as they do not threaten the young white teenager who walks past them therefore the stereotype is subverted. Fanons' theory can also be applied as the young black males are infantilized, meaning that they act child like in the terms of which they speak to each other and amongst each other.
